How much does a bespoke kitchen cost in Morocco?

Nobody in this trade publishes prices, which is exactly why comparing quotes is impossible. Here are our real ranges, what they include and what makes them move. Five minutes and you will know whether your project fits your budget.

Updated September 2026 · prices in dirhams, VAT included

The essentials in three figures
Complete kitchen
MAD 45,000 to 160,000

8 to 12 linear metres, excluding appliances and stone worktop

Linear wardrobe
MAD 15,000 to 35,000

3 metres, sliding doors, fully fitted inside

Walk-in wardrobe
MAD 35,000 to 80,000

three fitted walls with a central island

These are orders of magnitude, not a price list. The exact price of a kitchen depends on its dimensions to the centimetre, its materials and its internal fittings: it can only be fixed after an on-site survey and approval of the 3D drawings. That quote, with us, is firm.

Per linear metre

Price per linear metre, by door finish

A kitchen is priced first by the linear metre: the length of units standing on the floor, island included. An L-shaped kitchen of 3 m by 4 m is 7 linear metres. What moves that price most, by far, is the door material.

FinishPrice per linear metreWhat you get
18 mm melamineMAD 5,500 to 7,500Best value. Matt or woodgrain, scratch resistant, a wide choice of decors.
Matt PETMAD 6,500 to 8,500A velvet touch with no fingerprints. The best compromise today on a modern kitchen.
Gloss acrylicMAD 7,500 to 10,000Deep gloss, lacquered look, invisible edge bonding. Dark finishes show scratches.
Lacquer or real wood veneerMAD 10,000 to 13,000The top end: bespoke colours, real grain, routed grip rails.

These prices include carcasses, doors, soft-close hardware, manufacturing, delivery and installation. They exclude the stone worktop and the appliances.

Quartz

The worktop, quoted separately

MAD 1,800 to 3,500 per linear metre

The price depends on the colour, the thickness and the number of cut-outs: sink, hob, flush sockets. An island overhang, a thick edge or a matching splashback are counted on top of the running metre. Ceramic, granite and marble are quoted on the same basis, on request. A laminate worktop is often included in the kitchen price.

On a 7-metre L-shaped kitchen, allow MAD 12,600 to 24,500 for a quartz worktop, on top of the cabinetry.

Blum · Hettich

Hardware is not where we cut corners

We work with Blum and Hettich only, on every project: the MAD 20,000 apartment kitchen gets the same hinges as the MAD 160,000 one. Soft-close throughout, Legrabox or Tandembox drawer boxes, Aventos lift systems on wall units, corner pull-outs, full-extension larder units. This is what decides how a kitchen feels ten years after installation.

Manufacturer's warranty on all hardware: Blum warrants its mechanisms for life. It is also the first item cheaper quotes cut, because it does not show in a photograph.

What counts

What really moves the price

01

The door material

This is the first item, by far. Between melamine and bespoke lacquer, the same kitchen can cost twice as much. The structure stays the same: we do not build a cheaper carcass.

02

Height, not just length

Wall units running to the ceiling, or full-height housings, add door area and hardware. At equal length, a full-height kitchen costs 20 to 30 % more.

03

The hardware

Soft-close drawer boxes, corner mechanisms, lift-up wall units: these are engineered parts and they cost money. The brand never changes — it is Blum or Hettich whatever the budget. What varies from one project to the next is the level of equipment, never the quality of the mechanism.

04

Internal fittings

Cutlery trays, dividers, built-in bins, worktop lighting, pop-up sockets. Every fitting is a choice, and every choice has a price.

05

The worktop

Laminate and quartz are not in the same league. On a large kitchen the gap alone can equal the price of a wardrobe.

06

Site constraints

Out-of-square walls, an upper floor with no lift, an occupied room, difficult access in the medina: this turns into installation hours, and we say so at quotation stage rather than on the invoice.

07

Packing and delivery

The item you see least, and the one that costs most when it is rushed. Plenty of workshops load bare cabinets into a van: a door scratched on the way is a piece to remake, a delayed installation and a client who starts to doubt. Here every piece is wrapped, corner-protected, labelled and loaded in installation order. It is included in the price: a piece that arrives intact is an installation that does not slip by a week.

08

What happens after installation

Two years of warranty on manufacturing and installation, the manufacturer's warranty on all hardware — Blum warrants its mechanisms for life — and free adjustment of doors and drawers during the first year, while the house and the timber settle. It is provisioned in our prices, not invoiced afterwards.

Developers, hotels, residences

For series work — from about ten identical kitchens — the logic changes: panels are optimised across the whole batch, manufacturing runs as a series and installation is planned in phases. The unit price drops sharply. These projects are quoted from drawings, with one kitchen installed as a sample before the series is released.

Why the firm quote comes only after the survey

A price given over the phone is always wrong, one way or the other. We first send a free estimate from your drawings or photos, to check the project fits your budget. Then we measure the room to the millimetre: ceiling height, wall squareness, water and power positions, the exact dimensions of your appliances. The quote that follows is firm and itemised. Nothing is discovered at installation.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. Bespoke manufacturing starts once the quote is signed and a deposit paid, because panels are ordered and cut to your dimensions: they cannot be resold to anyone else. The balance is due at installation. The terms are written in full on the quote, before you sign anything.

How to compare two quotes honestly

A kitchen quote that fits on one line means nothing. Look at four things: carcass thickness (18 mm, not 16), the edging (2 mm ABS bonded with PUR, not a paper edge), the brand and type of hardware (soft-close or not), and whether installation is included or billed on top. A 30 % gap between two quotes is almost always explained by one of those four — rarely by the margin.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum price for a bespoke kitchen?
Below MAD 15,000, bespoke makes no sense: flat-pack will serve you better. Our smallest projects are 3-metre apartment kitchens in melamine, around MAD 20,000 including installation.
Is the worktop included in these prices?
No, it is quoted separately. Allow MAD 1,800 to 3,500 per linear metre for quartz, depending on the colour, the thickness and the cut-outs (sink, hob, island overhang). Ceramic, granite and marble follow the same logic, on quotation. A laminate worktop can be included in the kitchen price.
How much does a bespoke wardrobe cost?
MAD 15,000 to 35,000 for a 3-metre linear wardrobe with sliding doors and full internal fittings. MAD 35,000 to 80,000 for a walk-in across three walls with an island. The same factors apply: door material, door type, level of accessories.
Do you install a kitchen bought elsewhere?
No. We only install what we have drawn and built ourselves. It is a rule, not a matter of availability: installing someone else's units means taking on their measurements, their missing parts and their defects, with no way to stand behind them. Our guarantee holds because the same team surveys, manufactures and installs.
Are your prices the same in Marrakech and Casablanca?
Yes. The survey is free in both cities and installation is carried out by our own teams. Beyond those two cities a travel charge may apply; it is stated in the quote.
How long between signature and installation?
Allow two to three weeks of manufacturing after the 3D drawings are approved, then one to three days of installation depending on the size of the project. The dates appear on the quote.
Do you offer payment facilities?
Payment is in two stages: a deposit on order, the balance on installation. For large projects and trade clients, a schedule can be discussed at quotation stage.

Does your project fit your budget?

Send us your drawings or a few photos of the room: we reply within 24 working hours with a free estimate, before the survey even happens.
